A development of the distinctive Gullwing model, the 300SL Roadster is one of the world’s most ageless classics. With performance of near racing car status the roadster was somewhat heavier and slower than the Gullwing coupe, but desirable in its own right with its open top and front-hinged doors. Less than 2000 of these cars were produced between 1957 and 1963.
Below is a roadster restoration completed by Rare Drive. It was one of two originally painted Linden Green. Presented at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elégance where it won Best in Class.
